About this class
Our ESOL classes on Tuesdays are as follows:

- Participants are welcome to come for lunch and hot drinks at our officeafter the beginners’ class which finishes at 12md.
- Afternoon class: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Some learners choose to stay during the lunch break for open conversation and to practise their English informally, and a number of them also attend the afternoon session.

Northampton Town of Sanctuary
Our organisation employs volunteers and staff who are trained and knowledgeable in teaching the English language to speakers of other languages. NToS aims to empower their confidence in literacy and adjustment to their new environment. Register here to join the class Northampton Town of Sanctuary (NToS) is a charity founded in 2015. It promotes a culture of welcome for people seeking asylum in Northampton. As part of the national City of Sanctuary network, NToS encourages groups to pledge support for refugees, offering safety, friendship, and inclusion. While the number of asylum seekers in Northampton may be small, the focus is on solidarity and compassion. NToS envisions Northampton as a welcoming, safe, and supportive town for those in need.
